Courtney is certainly not a newcomer to the Charleston area. She and her family began vacationing in the area when she was quite young. A native to Michigan, she was passionate about art at a very young age and pursued the subject in college. She attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI from 1995-2000, with concentrations in graphic design and fine art and studied under several well known artist instructors. Her life experiences have brought her to South Carolina and she now resides in Charleston. Courtney has worked for prominent gallery owners in the downtown area, and is an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild. Please be sure to look for her work at upcoming shows! Her passion has been portrait work, and with inspiration of other fellow artists, she has been exploring the world of abstract with concentration in landscapes. Her choice in mediums have been mostly acrylic and oils.  Please be sure to check back often for samples of new works!
